RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department of Physics at the University of Pretoria is seeking suitably qualified people for a senior lecturer position to strengthen its research programme. The successful candidate will have solid research experience and be expected to participate in existing research programs (or start suitable new research programmes) and teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

● A PhD in Physics;

● A proven research and publication record, evidenced by quality research outputs and post-doctoral experience. The total remuneration package for this position ranges from approximately R358 088 to R460 302 (excluding medical aid benefits) as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED medical aid scheme and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium. Applicants are requested to apply online quoting the applicable reference number.
